It was a full weekend with Michelle and Clint coming down both for Sophia's Baby Shower and the Ariana Grande Concert in San Antonio. To the left, the family got together to 'shower' Michelle with numerous baby gifts. We all met at Erica's house. It was the first time that the family all came together to see her new house and Erica hosted a great party. Included were the immediate family: George, Erica, Cynthia, Michelle and Jordan, as well as the extended family members: Michael, Jennifer, David, Miguel, Joaquin, Ruth, Victoria, Carolyn, Eric, Anna, Viola, Gidget, Clint, Connie, Lilybelle, Diane and Jonathan.

But I am getting a little ahead of myself. The weekend started with a Friday night concert on May 17, 2019 by Ariana Grande. As usual the girls had great "front row seats" (actually 2nd row seats) to one of the biggest names in entertainment this year. Ariana Grande did not disappoint and put on a great show!

The following day, as mentioned above, we gathered to give Michelle and Clint gifts for the baby shower. It was a fun gathering as we had not had a chance to see the family since Easter Sunday at Diane's house. Michelle even got a special gift from Mom (right) that included several outfits that she, Cynthia and Erica wore when they were little girls. Connie had saved them for the right time to give to her own girls when they had their own children. I wish she was here to hand them to Michelle personally. It was a touching moment of rememberance. In the picture, (above, left) Cynthia makes a toast to the happy couple and to Mom.

That day we feasted on black forest ham & cheese and pulled pork sandwiches on Hawaiian rolls made by Erica. (I had 4 sandwiches but they were small, so don't judge me!) We also had Chick-fil-a nuggets, taquitos, chips and dips and a special unicorn cup-cake dessert made by Cynthia. Jordan decorated the cookies. Miller lite, diet coke, wine coolers and champagne were available to wash it all down.

To the left is a group picture that we took on the stairway at Erica's house. That is Erica at the very top. But it was a fun day and, yes, we get to do it all over again in a few months when it's time for Erica's baby shower!

I include this last picture since it has Cynthia in it. She gets to be in very few pictures because she is always taking them.
