Birthday Celebrations

Well, much to the chagrin of the 3 participants who frequently have to share their birthday celebration, once again we mashed together the birthdays of Michelle (34), Jordan (19) and Kevin (6) in a single day which started at 1:30 pm at Peter Piper Pizza on Bandera Road and ended at Erica's house after 10 pm. It should be noted that Jordan did have a weekend trip to Sulphur Springs, Texas earlier in the month and Kevin did have a birthday celebration at the Sugar Factory, but today's parties were for the families.

It seemed like everyone had a cake. While Kevin's cake was more ornate, I have to admit that Jordan's Tres Leches cake was really delicious..(ok, ok, I had 2 slices.. I tried to take more but she packed it up too quickly). Michelle's cake was a cannoli cake from Carlos' Bakery at La Cantera and was delicious also.

Although there were no pictures of the food or games played at Erica's, I have to mention that Andrew and Erica cooked up a special Italian meal of fettuccine noodles and meatballs, sausage & peppers (my personal favorite), fried ravioli and garlic bread. O-M-G it was all fantastic. Plus she made me a variety of drinks that she said were strong but I handled them very well without passing out at all. During the evening we played JENGA and WORDLE and possibly other games that I was too inebriated to remember. When you look at the pictures below, somehow, Stella showed up in every picture of Michelle and her cake! The girl is usually too shy when we start singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY but this time she seemed to enjoy blowing out the candles for Michelle. Presents followed, but again, no pictures were taken.
