It started with dinner at Roca & Martillo at the Rock in San Antonio! Almost everyone was there, except Andrew who was on call that day! But fortunately, his parents, Pat & Janet, were in town and joined us in our celebration. Andrew also joined us later at the house for dessert and presents!
As you can tell, we had a full table with all my kids and grandkids!
We started off with cocktails and appetizers! The many appetizers included meatballs, Deviled Eggs, cheesesticks and rice balls! Every one of them was delicious!
Below, the third picture showed James' brisket lasagna. I had the Parmigiano Fried Chicken on the end. It was so good, but the portions were huge. Unfortuately, I took half of it home and then forgot it in Erica's refrigerator! (She owe's me, big time!)
The waiter we had that night was excellent! He was seemingly everywhere and kept the flow of alcoholic beverages and food coming... even with Cynthia ordering the cocktails 3 at a time!! The first picture
(below) was Jordan's Campanelle Bolognese! You can tell in the last picture below, Jordan and I have multiple drinks in front of us! We did our best to keep up!
By the end of the night, we were feeling no pain!
As if that wasn't enough, after a great meal and lots of laughter, we headed home for cake and presents!

This is me, wearing some "heart"-shaped glasses given to me by Stella, trying to beat the kids in blowing out my candles! We tried a couple of times, but they were too quick for me! I'm not completely sure where it came from, but on the last try, I was sprayed pretty well when they blew out the candles... oh, boy! But they had a blast doing it! Unfortunately, there were no pictures taken of my opening the presents which is a real shame because once again, my daughters showered me with too many gifts that included my favorite books, candies and a ton of gift cards to my favorite shopping areas! I not only got one, but two gift cards for the Alamo Drafthouse. They must know how much fun Sylvia and I have going to the movies! I even got a box of high-priced golfballs that Janet assured me would never go in the water! (We'll see?!?)

To the left is the picture taken by our waiter! Looking at it and mulling over the evening's activities, I just cannot believe how truly lucky I am to have this much love in my life! Yep, family is everything! Being the 4th of July, the final activity that Erica arranged for was the fireworks show at the Dominion! What a way to end a perfect night!
