We all booked a room at the Best Western Casino Royale next to Harrah's on the strip. It was a great central location and we all had rooms on the 3rd floor. After "hugs" and "hellos" in the lobby, we decided to get together that evening at Battista's Hole in the Wall Italian Restaurant. Las vegas hotel room

There was unlimited wine and bread and lots of laughs and toasts during the evening. To the right is a picture of Hope & Stephanie with the BEATLES' LOVE show in the background at the Mirage. Another great highlight of the week.

On our second day, before we went to the BEATLES' LOVE SHOW, we went to the SUGAR FACTORY. Although there were a lot of sweet things to eat, the main attraction was the variety of great mixed drinks and cocktails that they had.

We definitely drank our share with a total of 17 drinks ordered for the table. The food and drinks were an eclectic and avant-garde mix. Everything tasted delicious. Unfortunately, we did managed to ring up a bill of $500 (not even counting Hope & Steph's part)!

Then it was Friday. Usually a huge party night in Las Vegas, we were all feeling our age. We had all planned to go to Freemont Street for drinks, music and more partying but Michelle had had enough alcohol by that time and bowed out. Hope and Stephanie were worn out and Denise, Bill, Billy, Kevin, Kim and Jeremy were off to unknown lands. There was talk of their going to see the MICHAEL JACKSON ONE show, but we never did hook up with them again while we were there. So, Jennifer, Cynthia, Jordan and George all went to Freemont street and as usual, it was a party scene. The highlight of the visit, though, was a Slotzilla Zipline ride down the street.
