Cynthia's Graduation: January 2017
Cynthia graduates from RN School!
The occasion was Cynthia's graduation from Nursing School with an Associates Degree. She had been enrolled in the RN program at Baptist School of Health Professions for the last 2 years, starting in January 2015 and ending in December 2016. She did her clinical training at the Northeast Baptist Medical Center. She tells me that her favorite training was during her rotations in Mental Health and her worst was in Pediatrics. (So apparently she likes crazy people and hates kids!)
Despite numerous periods of self-doubt, she forged ahead and obtained her degree even though she was in the last trimester with her second pregnancy. James, Jordan and the proud father, George, were all on hand to witness the event. She even requested that her Dad do the honor of pinning her for the ceremony which he proudly did. She took the national licensing exam, the NCLEX, on wed January 11 at 8am. According to Cynthia, "I took 170 questions and was absolutely sure I failed." (But she didn't!)

Shortly after graduation, Cynthia received her official Nursing Certificate indicating that she passed the national licensing exam.
This last picture, right, has absolutely nothing to do with the graduation, but it is one of my favorite pictures with Jordan so I slipped it in here.
