It was short notice, but the family doesn't need much time to get together for an important occasion. Because of COVID, Victoria did not get a proper celebration at the time she graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word, but we were happy to cheer her on at this belated event. (See her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees photographed at the end or the slide show! Ahem, note also that she graduated Magna cum Laude!)
The other news imparted by Gidget and Tomas that evening was that G'ana was pregnant and would soon be bringing another family member into the world.
This first picture,above, shows several generations of the Garcia family from Tomas' father to the newest member, Roman. The middle picture shows a happy Stella wearing Julian's hat. The picture on the right shows Sylvia and me sitting with Connie and Pancho in the background. I should note that after showing the picture to Sylvia, her main question was, "Why are you hugging Connie and not me?" As you might expect, I did not have a good answer for her so I'm in trouble again.
