Taylor Swift: Reputation Tour

Cynthia recently turned 37 and one of her gifts was some concert tickets (3) to see Taylor Swift in Arlington, Texas on October 6, 2018. As it turned out, it was the last concert tour date for Taylor Swift and, thus, a special event. Erica, Jordan and Cynthia took a road trip to Arlington for the event.
They decided to stop in Austin to eat breakfast at Maudie's Restaurant since Michelle worked there. Armed with my Amazon credit card, they feasted on mimosas and omelets. Michelle was the perfect "hostess with the mostest" and waited on them hand-and-foot. It also allowed me to get a picture of all 4 girls together for the website.
Then it was off to the Candlewood Suites about 2 miles from the event. They even had a shuttle bus from a close-by restaurant to the event that night. The room was pre-paid and almost everything worked out perfectly. (The only complaint that I had heard was that Jordan had to sleep with her Mom and didn't get her own bed! darn!)
And then there was the concert... The girls told me that it is the best concert that they have ever attended (and they've been to quite a few). Camila Cabello, best new artist of the year, opened the show. As if that wasn't enough, Sugarland came on right after as a "special guest". Of course, Taylor Swift ended the show with an over-the-top set. A truly spectacular performance!
The next day, Erica and the girls went to Dallas to meet up with Janet, Andrew's Mom, for brunch. Apparently, there were gourmet donuts there too, although I can't be sure since none of them survived the trip back to San Antonio. (Good thing, too. The sugar content would have probably killed me.) But I think that the strangest picture of the whole weekend was the one where everyone is sitting on giant vegetables and walnuts outside the restaurant.
