Jordan was lucky. Most kids only have one birthday, however, Jordan's birthday stretched out over 2 days! On January 22, she and her Mom headed to the Asiana Nails lounge near North Star Mall for pedicures.
Then Jordan, Cynthia and Dad all met up at the swanky and upscale Chama Gaucha Brazilian Steak house. Erica and Ayana were suppose to meet us there but had to miss it because of school issues. They missed a great meal. We had these little cards that you flipped over when you wanted the waiter to bring you a skewer of cooked meat where they slice off as much as you want. I swear, they were so attentive that within about 60 seconds of flipping over the card, I had about 4 types of meat on my plate -- all seasoned deliciously. I had to quickly flip the card back over to stop them from coming! Included were an endless supply of cheese bread bites that tasted like they just came out of the oven and a eclectic "salad" bar with about 30+ items on it.
I had a couple of delicious cocktails, but unfortunately the names are lost forever in the haze of the evening. Here I am with Jordan drinking my first cocktail. I am not sure why I look slightly drunk already as I had not had anything to drink at that point. Jordan had the virgin Mojito btw.
I have to say that with the impeccable service and unbelievable food, it was easily in the top ten of restaurant meals that I have had in my life.
The next day, we all went to Urban Air Trampoline Adventure Park on the east side of San Antonio to celebrate Jordan's and Kevin's birthdays. Michael, David, Erica, Andrew and I all filled up on pizza, chicken wings and cheese bites. The cakes were made by Jessica (of course).
Here are some photos and videos taken at that facility.

Watching Erica and Andrew, both fit and in their prime, struggle with the rings, ropes and net ladder made me realize that it was futile to try any of that stuff myself.

Cynthia and James monitored the kids. There were a ton of presents. The birthday pair definitely got spoiled. Not pictured but also there were Destiny and Jace, Diane, Jennifer, Jacob & Emrie (Ikaika's children), Korey and Jessica (who made the beautiful cakes). Mirka's Mom was also there.
