I'm not sure whose idea it was to buy a game where you get pie thrown in your face but that's the kind of birthday month we had this year. Above is Cynthia and Kevin playing this new game. I can't tell? Did they both win or lose? Either way, it looks like a lot of fun and next time I'm over at Cynthia's house, I'm playing with them!
But the party at Peter Piper's was a lot of fun! Korey and Jessica looked hopeful before the game. Sylvia and I had a great time! Anna and Connie were there. And Ruthie and her family can be seen in the background of the last picture (above).
Michael was showered with gifts and of course, we sang "Happy Birthday" to him with a "cowboys football" cake!
We finally made it to the actual "party" that we had been planning for the whole month!!!
Originally scheduled for January 17, but delayed by a new addition to the family (Sienna) and COVID (George & Sylvia), we finally got together on January 27th to celebrate Michelle's, Kevin's and Jordan's birthdays all at one time. They each got a pallet full of presents to open and we all met at Erica's place for an Italian dinner. Erica made this delicious spinach and cheese bread that came out piping hot and was delicious. She and Andrew also made a baked lasagna. Cynthia made meatballs and crab cakes! Michelle made the eggplant parmigiana. I made chicken cacciatore. We also had a few interesting alcoholic beverages made by Erica! Everything was delicious. I finally got to hold my newest grandchild!
I bought a Key Lime pie (Erica's favorite) pictured above to celebrate Sienna's birth and then we sang "Happy Birthday" to ALL the birthday people with a double frosted carrot cake (held by Cynthia) from Nadler's Bakery. It really was a feast of great food and drinks.
This last picture, to the left, is a group picture taken at Erica's place. Jay and Noah were able to join us for the festivities that evening. And just think... Starting next year we now have to add a 5th January Birthday to the pile for Sienna Rose! Wow!
