Erica and Andrew visit Europe,

Well, Erica and Andrew finally got their Honeymoon vacation in Europe. When they tied the knot on April 30, 2017, they were both very busy with school. Andrew was headed toward his last year of medical school and Erica was in the process of moving to San Antonio to start her first year of PA school. A honeymoon after the wedding just had to wait. Now, 1 year later on their first anniversary, they planned a multicity jaunt across Europe visiting Edinburgh in Scotland, and Rome, Florence and Venice in Italy. The first picture (above) is a panoramic view of Florence. Erica told me that they had to climb 400+ steps to get that vantage point, but the picture was worth it. The picture to the left is the Florence duomo. It is the 4th largest cathedral in the world (with Andrew's beer and Erica's spritzer in the foreground -- somehow a lot of these pictures have alcoholic beverages in them) . Also on the tour was the colosseum in Rome. Crumbling but still majestic! And the beautiful 'river' city of Venice with it's romantic Gondola rides along the Grand Canal.

Here she is at a bar with Andrew, Evelyn & Alex (see slide show) creating the 'tower of Edinburgh' -- a name they made up after they stacked up the empty glasses on the table for this picture. There were also culinary delights like the combination of a pumpkin pizza next to a more traditional pepperoni pizza.

And yes, they were also able to take in the sights with an abundance of centuries-old murals by some of the greatest artists in history.
