Erica Graduates from the PA Program!

Erica started this journey 2-1/2 years ago when she entered the PA program at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Half of that time, she lived with me and half of that time, she and Andrew bought and set up a home and had Stella Marie along the way. She and Andrew took a dream trip to Europe and many life changing moments occurred between starting the program and commencement day. To the left is Erica holding her diploma, and to the right, with her proud Dad.

After the ceremony (which was short and sweet), we all went to Cappy's Restaurant on Broadway in San Antonio for drinks, great food and some great conversation & laughter! The flowers were a nice touch. Who knew that Andrew was such a romantic!

Of course, Stella had to get into the picture. She seemed totally bored with the whole process. To the right, Dad is holding Stella by Erica's Christmas tree after we returned home from the ceremony and dinner.

Here are some pictures from the restaurant. I had the jumbo lump blue crab cakes which were delicious. Andrew had the marinated duck. And we shared three desserts. Pictured is the hot fudge chocolate cake. Jordan also ordered the raspberry creme brulee and Andrew ordered the butterscotch toffee pudding. Honestly, after trying all three, I couldn't tell you which one was most delicious.
