Diane & Julian host Easter cookout at their home.
April 4, 2021

Las vegas hotel room Las vegas hotel room Michelle made the trip into town with Sophia who was a little bewildered by all the new faces. In the picture to the left, they are at the kitchen table with Cynthia, Michael, Erica and Connie. To the right is Diane with one of the newest faces in our family, Roman Jonathan Garcia, Jonathan's new baby boy.

The family was very happy to take her money during some "21" card playing that day, but she held her own and may even have won some money! But either way it was okay since they fed us plenty of food and alcoholic beverages to make up for it all! Most importantly, she loved the family and they seemed to love her also.

Anna (right) is cuddling Roman.
Poor Roman got an overload of attention and was passed around like a $2 hooker. To the left, he is with Jessica and Jennifer; Uncle David and Roman (middle); and on the right, he is swarmed by a flock of women, Cynthia, Jordan and Jessica.
I was wondering why there were so many pictures of Roman and then it hit me! All of these pictures were taken by his grandmother, Gidget. I think there was a little favoritism going on here, but it's always great to welcome new ones to the family.

The kids seem to get into the spirit, also. It appears that Stella and Sophia had a few eggs cracked on her heads. I am not sure who started the confetti egg thing for Easter but it is not one of my favorite traditions. The confetti seems to be stuck in my hair for days and itches when it goes down the back of my shirt. But, hey, all in fun. The middle picture (below) shows Destiny leading Stella, Kevin, Lillybelle and Sophia on an Easter egg hunt. On the right, Stella just looks happy with her Easter basket full of chocolate bunnies and lollipops. (I may have snuck a few pieces of chocolate from their baskets when they weren't looking!)

In the 3 pictures in the bottom row, Sophia looks equally happy with all of her Easter surprises

Believe it or not, we were also celebrating a birthday that day. Milo, Destiny's dog, had a birthday celebration, presents, cake and all. You can see the HAPPY BIRTHDAY sign behind Jordan & Roman in the middle picture (below). To the left is Michael, Roman and Jonathan, the proud father. To the right, is Julian (cook and card dealer), Carolyn and a friend that she brought to the gathering.

Wax Museum Visit Well, this is the way we always seem to celebrate Easter --with family, cards, good food and plenty of fun. From the picture to the left, you can see that James and Korey were there also. There were a lot of friendly faces, both new and old, and fortunately, Mother Nature chipped in with some beautiful weather making this Easter cookout a wonderful day!
