Diane turns 55
October 17, 2020

Festival sign Cynthia tasting coffee Jennifer, Michael and David made plans to celebrate Diane's 55th birthday at Tomatillos Cafe and Cantina on Broadway Street in San Antonio.

Everyone met up to celebrate with her. It was the kind of event that one cake could not hold it all, so we had two cakes. (Unfortunately, neither one was made in the magic kitchen of Jessica.)

The picture on the left, above shows Jordan, Cynthia, Jennifer, Kory and Jessica. Of course, all of the Viesca "kids" got together for the picture in the middle. And on the right, Viola joined the group's festivities. Drinks and laughs flowed the whole time.

Jordan Fireplace Sandia Mountains The left picture shows Michael and Jordan bellying up to the bar. On the right, Lillybelle has her own party going on!

Poor Stella got an overload of attention and was passed around like a new prison inmate. Uncle Michael and Uncle Julian both got in some "Stella"-time! But she seemed to enjoy all of the family's attention. In the middle picture, I am holding one of three skinny margaritas. Why they put my drink in such a "skinny" glass, I'll never know.

Of course, we sang, "Happy Birthday" to the birthday girl. Here, Jennifer is lighting the candles on her two cakes. (How come I never get two cakes for my birthday??? Oh, well. I shouldn't complain! I got a piece from each of them!) I was able to get away with a consolation prize since I stole the Spiderman Balloon from the party (left). Pictured on the right is one of Diane's gifts, a Tommy Hilfiger jogging outfit. Yes, she loved it and looked 'fly' in the outfit. Unexpectedly, it did bring tears to a couple of the party goers who remembered Connie wearing such outfits.

Wax Museum Visit I include this final picture. It was actually taken at Erica's house after the party broke up, but it was so cute that I had to include it. Even Andrew's dog, Aria II, came out looking good!

But it shows the future pumpkin patch queen of San Antonio. GO, STELLA !!!!!!!
