The girls received Carrie Underwood Concert tickets and tee shirts at Christmas time. It seemed like a long time coming to cash in on this gift, but finally the big night came. Unfortunately, Michelle, who was in the hospital having Sophia, couldn't attend the concert so Jennifer graciously stepped in for her. It was a sacrifice for Jen, but she did it with aplomb.
We all met at Cynthia's house. Watching 4 girls get ready for a night out is a treat in itself. But then we started the night with dinner at the Olive Garden on the southside. Surprisingly, we bumped in to Diane & Julian who also ate there that night. Strange coincidence. After several drinks, delicious meals and a chocolate lasagna dessert that we all shared, the girls were off to the concert. (Poor Dad was only there to pick up the tab.) Erica said that they were the best concert seats she has ever had. I'm just glad they had fun! Below is a slide show containing all of the pictures from that night. There is also a video.
